Tom Curtis is the CEO of Precise Systems, he served on active duty as a naval aviator for 27 years. Tom was a fleet pilot, an instructor pilot, and an engineering test pilot. As the Navy’s lead rotary wing test pilot, Tom was responsible for flight testing all Navy helicopters. He accomplished numerous “first flights” of aircraft, systems and weaponry. As the Navy’s chief engineer for the V-22 Osprey Tiltrotor aircraft, Tom led and exercised decision authority for the V-22 design. In his last active duty assignment, Tom was the Navy’s program manager for the AH 1Z Cobra and UH 1Y Huey helicopters.
Tom holds an MS in Aerospace Engineering (Avionics Specialty) from the Naval Postgraduate School, an MA in Management from Central Michigan University, and a BA in Communications from the University of Georgia. Tom retired as a Navy Captain in 2001.
Scott Pfister is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Precise Systems, he served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for 11 years, leading Marines in the CH-53 community. While on active duty Scott received several combat awards and was the 1996 recipient of the Danny L Radish Award from Marine Corps Aviation Association.
Scott has served as an officer on several industry councils and organizations including the Southern Maryland SDVOSB Council and the Pax River Small Business Round Table. He holds a BS in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University and is DAWIA certified in Program Management and Systems Engineering.
As a Senior Vice President, Joe currently oversees Precise Systems support to several NAVAIR Program Offices including PMA-209, PMA-290, and PMA-205. Joe has 32 years of experience supporting DoD and NAVAIR acquisition programs. He is considered a subject matter expert in avionics systems and aircraft subsystems. He has over 15 years of experience supporting and managing aircraft systems hardware, software, systems integration and supportability and configuration management efforts. Joe is also an expert in DoD information technology policies and procedures and played an instrumental role in the NMCI introduction to NAVAIR. He has a significant amount of business training and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
As a Senior Vice President, Pete currently oversees Precise Systems support to several NAVAIR Program Offices, internal and external technology solution programs. Pete has 38 years of experience supporting DoD and NAVAIR acquisition programs in Program Management, Systems Engineering, Aviation Logistics and Industrial Operations. Pete served on active duty as a naval aviator for 31 years. Among his many duties while on active duty at NAVAIR, he served as the Systems Engineering Department Head (AIR-4.1), the Program Manager for the F-14 Aircraft Program (PMA-241), the Commander of Aviation Depots (AIR-6.0D), the Assistant Commander of Logistics and Industrial Operations (AIR-6.0), and finally as the Program Executive Officer of Tactical Aircraft Programs.
Pete holds a BA in Zoology/Pre-Med from the University of Maine, and a MS in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is DAWIA Level III Certified in Program Management and Systems Engineering, a past member of the Board of Directors for the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), Southern Maryland Chapter, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance.
Matthew is the Senior Vice President of Business Development and has 28 years of DoD experience, including 25 years focused on managing US Navy domestic and international surface and aviation programs. His experience includes managing Profit and Loss (P&L) centers, developing corporate strategic goals and managing corporate-wide capture and proposal development activities. He has managed US Navy engineering, logistics and financial tasking for domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. He has served as the support Program Manager (PM) for the DDG-51 shipbuilding program, Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) acquisition program, the Mk 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) FMS program and other Navy contracts providing technical and programmatic requirements. He holds a BS in Political Science from Emory & Henry College and a MS in Business from Marymount University.
Angela is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Contracts for Precise Systems. She has 27 years of progressive experience in her areas of responsibility, which include the accounting, finance and contracts functions. Angela also works closely with the executive leadership team of Precise to provide support for strategic planning, financial reporting, budget development and adherence, as well as contractual items.
She is an expert in DoD financial management policies and procedures, accounting IT systems, and auditing. Her past jobs included assignments at PwC, Continental Airlines, and CarMax. Angela holds a BS in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mary Anne Matsko
Mary Anne Matsko serves as the Precise Systems Vice President of Corporate Resources. Mary Anne brings 33 years of U.S Navy program management and engineering experience to Precise. She is the executive charged with managing human capital, talent management, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, facilities, security and Information Technology (IT). Prior to joining Precise Systems, Mary Anne served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration and as the Senior Vice President of Navy Programs for the Columbia Group where she developed and implemented a wide variety corporate initiatives. As the Senior Vice President of Navy Programs, she oversaw personnel providing Program Management, Acquisition and Logistics, Engineering Management, and Human Performance Solutions support to the United States Navy. She provided executive oversight for the company’s customer service, business development, and program management. Mary Anne has managed large Naval Sea Systems Command, Navy Foreign Military Sales, and commercial programs. She also played a key role in the deployment of IT systems during the implementation of the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), managing 90 program support personnel.
Mary Anne holds a BA in Business from Salisbury University where she serves on the Executive Advisory Council for the Purdue Business School. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM).
As a Vice President, Lindy currently oversees Precise Systems support to several NAVAIR Program Offices including PMA-274, PMA-276, and PMA-261. Lindy has 32 years of experience supporting DoD and NAVAIR acquisition programs. Lindy served on active duty as a Marine Corps aviator for 22 years as a Pilot, an Operational Test Director, an Operations Officer and finally as the Executive Officer of Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1).
Lindy holds a MS in Management from Troy State University, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. He is also a graduate of the USMC Command and Staff College graduate and is certified in Program Management from DSMC.
As a Vice President, Kevin currently directs the Precise Software Solutions team which assists Precise Systems personnel and customers with requirements, development, configuration, implementation and deployment of Precise SharePoint IDE systems and Knowledge Management tools. He has 25 years of experience as an information technology consultant and manager in IT systems engineering and full lifecycle solution architecture, development, and management. He is an expert at comprehensive technical infrastructure strategy, design, development, and system deployment.
He holds a BS in Computer Science with Aviation Applications from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and several Microsoft certifications including; Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (PCPD), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
Christina is the Human Resources Director for Precise Systems. She has 15 years of experience in the human resources and recruiting fields. At Precise, she guides human resources to provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Christina is a proven and experienced human resource professional, group facilitator, trainer and change manager.
She holds a BS in Business Administration from Towson University and is a certified Professional of Human Resources (PHR) from the Society of Human Resources Management.
Laura is the Director of Corporate Strategy at Precise Systems. She is a trained systems engineer with 12 years of U.S. Navy engineering, acquisition and program management experience. In Laura’s current role she is responsible for developing corporate strategic goals and managing proposal development activities. Her past positions at Precise included Program Manager for the AIR 4.1 Requirements Engineering contract, and as an empowered Flight Clearance Facilitator for H-53 aircraft in support of AIR 4.0P. Previous to joining Precise, Laura served as an Assistant Investigator for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
Laura holds an MS in Project Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland. She is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland.
Mark is the Director of Corporate Capture within Precise’s Business Development Group. Prior to joining Precise, he served in a variety of command and staff positions both in the continental United States and in forward deployed operations during a 30 year career in the United State Marine Corps. Mark served in senior executive positions at HQMC, the Joint Staff and Legislative Affairs during assignments in Washington DC as well as Commanding Officer, Detachment Commander and Senior Airfield Authority for Al Asad Airbase, Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Prior to joining Precise Systems, he previously served as a Vice President and Senior Advisor to Major Defense contractors and consulting firms.
Mark has a BS in Education and two advanced degrees; a Masters of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the College of Naval Warfare, and a Masters of Military Arts and Sciences from the US Army Command and Staff College. He is a combat veteran with 151 combat missions and 3,700 flight hours in over 20 different types of military aircraft.
As a Director, John oversees Precise Systems programs in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN and the Naval Aviation Training Systems program office (PMA-205).
John has 32 years supporting DoD, aviation industry, and NAVAIR acquisition programs in Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Test & Evaluation. John is a retired US Marine CH-53E pilot and has served in numerous roles across the aviation industry since his retirement. John holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University and a MS in Project Management from Boston University.
As a Director, Linda currently manages and oversees the Precise Systems Software Solutions team which supports customers at all levels of Information Technology to include but not limited to development, testing, help desk support, and training for enterprise level tools.
She has over 25 years of experience with the management and implementation of complex Information Systems on small and large scale projects which include private and government organizations. She has a strong background specializing in network infrastructures. She also has extensive experience in supporting several DoD and NAVAIR acquisition programs to include AIR 1.7, PMA-261, PMA-274, PMA-276, and PMA-275, which offered her the rare and unique opportunity to manage and support all IT efforts aboard the U.S.S. Wasp. She has been with Precise for 15 years and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
As a Director, Jeff currently manages and oversees our North Carolina and H-53 operations. He has a combined 27 years of experience supporting DoD, NAVAIR acquisition and NAVAIR Airworthiness programs.
Jeff served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for 11 years as a CH-53 Helicopter Crew Chief and Quality Assurance Representative. He has over 15 years of experience supporting H-53 Systems Engineering and the NAVAIR Airworthiness Office. Jeff holds a BS in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University, with a Minor in Logistics.
