LEXINGTON PARK, MD, December 1, 2016 — Precise Systems proudly accepted the Community Partner Award from Southern Maryland Community Network (SMCN) during their Annual Open Board Meeting on November 29, 2016 at College of Southern Maryland, Prince Frederick Campus. The Community Partner Award honors organizations who have demonstrated support of the Southern Maryland Community Network Mission through their efforts in contributing to the communities in which they work and live.

Southern Maryland Community Network is a local non-profit organization that operates with a mission of “forming a partnership between people with mental health needs and their community – to foster understanding, empowerment, integration and enhanced quality of life.” Their services include psychiatric rehabilitation programs, targeted case management, employment support, adult crisis assistance, child/adolescent psychiatric rehabilitation

programs, homelessness transition services, as well as a tri-county Community Behavioral Health Liaison Program. SMCN has pioneered mental health service offerings in Southern Maryland, paving the way to ensuring the people of this community have the resources necessary for wellness and success.

Precise Systems has partnered with SMCN in several initiatives over the past few years. Initiatives have included the Annual Precise Back to School Drive, where employees donate new school supplies and assemble backpacks for distribution to struggling families in the community. Precise has also participated in several food drives and food distributions during holiday times in coordination with SMCN. In accordance with the Precise Core Value of nurturing valued partnerships, we gladly support the Southern Maryland Community Network and look forward to continuing to aide them in their mission.
