Matthew Orsino
Matthew Orsino is an accomplished growth strategist and defense industry executive with 28 years of Department of Defense experience. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions that bridge operations, strategy, and business development, with a primary focus on U.S. Navy surface and aviation programs both domestically and internationally.
In his previous leadership roles, Matthew was responsible for shaping and executing corporate growth strategies, aligning capabilities in sustainment, modernization, and readiness with evolving customer requirements. He expanded organizational presence in both U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) markets, leveraging deep experience in capture management, proposal development, and corporate strategy.
Previously, Matthew managed profit and loss (P&L) centers and served as Program Manager on several major Navy programs, including the DDG-51 shipbuilding program, the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) acquisition program, and the Mk 41 Vertical Launching System FMS program. His expertise spans engineering, logistics, and financial tasking for both U.S. and international customers.
Recognized for his ability to integrate technical requirements with business outcomes, Matthew has successfully led diverse teams in securing and sustaining complex defense contracts. His leadership combines operational discipline, strategic foresight, and commercial acumen, enabling organizations to thrive in competitive acquisition environments.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Emory & Henry College and a Master of Science in Business from Marymount University.
