Christina Payne
Christina Payne serves as the Chief People Officer (CPO) of Precise Systems, where she drives the company’s people strategy and corporate relations initiatives in alignment with its mission and growth trajectory. A visionary leader with a deep commitment to cultivating high-performing, people-first organizations, Christina shapes the culture and talent framework that empower Precise’s continued expansion and operational excellence.
Appointed CPO in February 2023, Christina previously served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Relations. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of human capital strategy—including talent acquisition, cultural and organizational development, employee growth and advancement, compensation and benefits, and workplace safety—while also leading corporate functions such as Community and Employee Engagement, Export Compliance, Security, and Facilities.
Under Christina’s leadership, Precise has strengthened its foundation as an employer of choice by fostering a culture defined by empowerment, integrity, and continuous improvement. She has also led the successful cultural integration of four companies—Excet, Inc., JHT, Inc., Tucson Embedded Systems, and Mission Focused Systems—uniting their teams and values under Precise’s people-centric philosophy. She regularly serves as a panelist and speaker on topics of HR philosophy, leadership, and culture, offering thought leadership on how organizations can strengthen engagement and performance through people-focused strategies.
In recognition of her leadership and impact, Christina was named to the 2024 WashingtonExec “Executives to Watch” List and honored as a finalist for the 2025 Washington Exec Chief Officer Awards. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science from Towson University and a Master of Science in Management with a focus in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College. She is credentialed as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and Strategic HR Leadership (SHRL). A graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland and a Veteran Ambassador with the SHRM Foundation, Christina is a recognized advocate for leadership development, workforce innovation, and community engagement.
