Scott Pfister serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Precise Systems and sits on the company’s Board of Directors. With over two decades of dedicated leadership, Scott has been the driving force behind Precise’s transformation from a small professional services firm into a diversified, high-performing enterprise recognized for its innovation, agility, and mission readiness.

Since joining Precise in 2001 to support the Marine Corps’ CH-53K Heavy Lift Helicopter program, Scott has advanced through key leadership roles, including Director of Programs, Vice President of Marine Corps Programs, Chief Operating Officer, and President. As President and COO beginning in 2014, he architected a strategy of disciplined, organic growth that earned Precise a place on Inc. Magazine’s list of Fastest Growing Companies for nine consecutive years — a testament to the company’s operational excellence and customer-first culture.

Following the 2023 strategic investment from Bluestone Investment Partners, Scott assumed the role of CEO, accelerating Precise’s growth trajectory through a series of targeted acquisitions and market expansion initiatives. Under his leadership, the company grew to more than 1,300 employees and completed the seamless integration of four acquisitions (Excet, Inc., JHT, Inc., Tucson Embedded Systems, and Mission Focused Systems) — broadening technical capabilities, expanding the federal contract portfolio, and positioning Precise as a mission-critical partner across defense, engineering, and digital transformation domains.

Scott’s strategic vision centers on sustainable growth through innovation, integration, and empowerment. He continues to align Precise’s long-term objectives with the evolving priorities of the Department of Defense and its partners, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technology-enabled mission solutions. Recognized for his strategic vision and growth leadership, Scott has participated in high-level forums such as the Bluestone Leadership Forum panel, “Partnering with Private Equity to Drive Growth,” offering perspectives on aligning investment strategy with sustainable enterprise growth. Scott’s visionary leadership earned him recognition as a finalist both the Executive of the Year ($75–$300 Million) at the 2025 Greater Washington GovCon Awards and the 2025 Washington Exec Chief Officer awards —honoring top executives shaping the future of government contracting.

A decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Scott served 11 years as a CH-53E Crew Chief, completing multiple overseas deployments. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating summa cum laude. His military honors include the Air Medal with Combat Valor, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. For his heroism during the Scott O’Grady rescue mission, he received the Marine Corps Aviation Association’s 1996 Danny L. Radish Award for Enlisted Aircrewman of the Year.
