#PeopleOfPrecise: Meet Makenzie Harbron

At Precise, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Through our #PeopleOfPrecise series, we’re highlighting the talented professionals whose expertise, dedication, and passion help drive our mission forward.

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Makenzie Harbron.

As a member of our Electromagnetic Warfare team, Makenzie plays a key role in helping projects move from planning to execution. Her responsibilities span coordinating schedules across teams, developing requirements, supporting project approvals, and helping resolve challenges that arise throughout the development process.

Because every project is at a different stage, no two days look exactly alike.

“Every day is a different adventure,” Makenzie says. “The team continues to work toward a completed product, and it’s exciting to be part of that process.”

What energizes her most about working in Electromagnetic Warfare is the fast-paced nature of the field. As technologies evolve and new threats emerge, teams must continuously adapt and innovate to stay ahead.

“The threats out there are always revolving, and it’s exciting trying to keep up with the latest technology.”

Among the many areas that support EW missions, Makenzie finds engineering especially rewarding. She enjoys working alongside technical teams and leadership to address current challenges, develop solutions, and help deliver enhanced capabilities to the warfighter.

“It allows us to tackle current problems and figure out how to get updated capabilities out to the warfighter.”

For Makenzie, collaboration is one of the most important factors behind mission success. Whether working with local teammates or connecting with colleagues across the country, she has seen firsthand how diverse expertise and shared problem-solving help teams overcome obstacles and keep projects moving forward.

That collaborative approach extends throughout Precise and strengthens our ability to support customers with innovative, mission-focused solutions.

To stay adaptable in an ever-changing environment, Makenzie’s team embraces agile processes and works closely with leadership to evaluate priorities, respond to emerging needs, and continuously improve.

Her commitment to teamwork, innovation, and supporting the mission reflects the values that make Precise successful.

Thank you, Makenzie, for everything you do. We’re grateful to have you on the team and proud to feature you in this month’s #PeopleOfPrecise spotlight.

#PeopleOfPrecise: Meet Emily Weber

Meet Emily Weber – Human Resources Specialist, Coast Guard veteran, and Precise Systems’ employee spotlight for October 2025.

Emily joined our Precise Team just last month as part of our acquisition of Mission Focused Systems (MFS), a recognized partner offering systems engineering, project management, research, and cybersecurity services to the Department of Defense (DoD). She knew that Precise and MFS would make a great match after seeing how both companies have a “People First” mindset that runs through the core of each culture. Confident that Precise would take care of her and her fellow MFS teammates, Emily looked forward to this next chapter.

Before her Human Resources career began, Emily served in the United States Coast Guard. While completing her time in the military, she learned many valuable lessons that still impact her work today. One especially important lesson, Emily says, is, “As long as I put in the work, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to!”

This led her to the field of Human Resources, as she cherishes each and every opportunity to help make people’s lives better and assist where she can. Her service in the U.S. Coast Guard and role in Human Resources both provided her with that daily opportunity – one that she is incredibly grateful for.

Now that she is part of our Precise Team, Emily gets the chance to engage with our employees and share our culture with them in her own, unique way. She describes the Precise culture as impactful, caring, and fun, aligning well with the culture she knows at MFS, as well as her own personal philosophy of remaining professionally driven and always people first.

Emily enjoys relaxing after work by catching up on the latest shows. While she is a sucker for reality TV, she also likes dramas or comedies. Her current obsession is The Task, a crime drama set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia. She recommends it to anyone looking for a well-written drama!

We are excited to welcome Emily and her MFS co-workers to the Precise Team. We look forward to continuing to scale our expertise with the talent and solutions they will provide to our customers!

Precise Systems Acquires Mission Focused Systems, Deepening Mission-Ready Solutions for the Warfighter

LEXINGTON PARK, MD, September 9, 2025 – Precise Systems, a leading provider of innovative solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD), announced today the acquisition of Mission Focused Systems (MFS), a recognized partner in delivering systems engineering, cybersecurity, and research, experimentation and prototyping solutions. This acquisition strengthens Precise Systems’ ability to provide mission-critical solutions across multiple domains while further advancing its commitment to supporting the Joint Warfighter.

With a strong reputation for excellence, Mission Focused Systems brings decades of experience in engineering services, program management, and Science and Technology (S&T) support. Mission Focused Systems (MFS) is currently headquartered in Royersford, Pennsylvania, with employees in Pennsylvania, Florida, and California. The company specializes in agile model-based systems and systems-of-systems engineering, modeling and simulation, rapid solutioneering and assessment of integrated solutions for the DoD, Intelligence Community, federal agencies, and commercial sectors. MFS focuses on complete, multi-discipline mission environments—such as space, C4ISR, and enterprise information systems transforming user needs into operational capabilities by blending tailored systems engineering processes with rapid innovation discovery and delivery methods, accelerating the speed-to-the-Joint Warfighter cycle. Integrating MFS into Precise Systems expands the company’s portfolio in advanced engineering, digital transformation, interactive training and simulation, and platform lifecycle support.

“This acquisition reflects our strategic vision to broaden our capabilities and deepen our impact across the defense community,” said Scott Pfister, President and CEO of Precise Systems. “Mission Focused Systems shares our dedication to innovation, customer service, and supporting the mission of our nation’s Warfighters. Together, we will provide even greater value and expertise to our customers.”

The acquisition not only grows Precise Systems’ technical expertise but also strengthens its ability to deliver integrated solutions for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and other defense partners. MFS employees will join the Precise Systems’ workforce, continuing their legacy of excellence while gaining access to expanded resources, professional development opportunities, and a broader platform to serve customers.

“Joining Precise Systems allows us to continue our mission with increased scale and reach,” said Jim Rodman of MFS, “We are proud of the team we have built, the solutions we deliver, and the impact those solutions have on warfighting readiness. We are excited to take this next step as part of Precise Systems.”

The acquisition of Mission Focused Systems represents another milestone in Precise Systems’ growth strategy, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in delivering the capabilities required to meet today’s evolving defense challenges. This transaction will mark the fourth acquisition since commencing the Precise and Bluestone partnership in January 2023.
