2016 Year in Review President’s Message

SPLEXINGTON PARK, MD, February 21, 2017 — I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your superb efforts; 2016 was a record year for Precise Systems! Our great success can be attributed to your unequivocal dedication to our customers and the warfighter, your commitment to putting people first and your help in taking care of our own. As a direct result of your hard work, Precise’s 2016 “end of year” revenues represent a 41.5% growth over 2015. For the first time in our company’s history, we employ more than 250 people and the number continues to increase. This sustained growth provides new advancement opportunities for our employees and will be reflected in increased value for ESOP participants. We hope you continue to see Precise as a place to settle in for the long term as you pursue your career goals.

Precise had a number of key contract wins to round out 2016. We were awarded five new prime contracts including:

  • PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Program Office
  • PMA-280 Tomahawk Program Office
  • NSWC Crane Security (Command-wide)
  • PMA-209 Common Acquisition Programs
  • PMA-209 Capabilities Management

The two new contracts for PMA-209 (the Air Combat Electronics Program Office) significantly expand our previous Acquisition support. Our successful re-compete of Precise’s Acquisition contract also now includes support of PMA-209’s international programs teams.

We also received a number of successful subcontractor awards, one of which was a re-compete in PMA-273. Our “new business” subcontractor wins include AIR 6.7 work at Pax River and Cherry Point; AIR 4.0 in Cherry Point; AIR 4.9.4 at Pax River; and Contractor Field Teams (CFT) based in Huntsville, AL. These awards will present new growth opportunity in 2017.

Precise had a host of other noteworthy achievements in 2016. We were recognized by NAVAIR as one of NAWCAD Pax River’s Top 10 Prime Contractors of FY16. We launched a new website over the summer, became ISO 9001:2008 certified, and have increased our community involvement in supporting meaningful causes such as our Annual Back to School Drive and #NolanStrong.  At the same time, we extended Precise’s corporate brand among our social media outlets, and made a concerted effort to nurture our corporate culture and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Looking ahead to 2017, I believe Precise will undoubtedly have another outstanding year. Though we are destined to face challenges, including the ongoing task of winning our re-competes, we have consistently demonstrated our ability to overcome obstacles and continue to prosper. Our pipeline of new business targets is stronger than ever, and we are committed to investing in the infrastructure and resources required to sustain and attract talent and opportunities for Precise Systems.

So again, thanks to all for your great work!  You are the heartbeat of Precise Systems, and I am honored to share the success and growth of the company with you.

With the greatest respect,

Scott Pfister
